1. General betting requirements
These rules apply to bets placed through the Unibet Casino website, mobile services or any other betting channel made available to you. By opening an account, accessing a betting service or submitting a bet, you confirm that you have read and accepted the rules that apply to that service. Additional rules may appear on a particular market, event, game or promotion. Those additional rules form part of the agreement for the relevant bet.
You must be legally permitted to gamble in the place where you are located when using the service. You must also meet the minimum age requirement that applies under Australian law and the laws relevant to your location. You are responsible for checking whether online gambling and the particular betting product you wish to use are lawful for you. Unibet Casino may restrict access where required by law, regulation, platform requirements or its internal controls.
Only one personal account should be used by each customer unless the applicable account terms expressly allow otherwise. Account information must be accurate, complete and kept up to date. You must not allow another person to use your account, place bets on your behalf or access your payment methods. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and should notify Unibet Casino promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must provide truthful information during registration, verification and account maintenance.
- You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering or any other prohibited purpose.
- You must not use automated systems, bots, scripts or software intended to interfere with the service or gain an unfair advantage.
- You must not place bets using funds that do not belong to you or use a payment method without proper authorisation.
- You must follow any product-specific rules displayed before confirming a bet.
Unibet Casino may carry out identity, age, payment and source-of-funds checks. These checks help protect customers, prevent misuse of the service and meet legal or regulatory obligations. A bet, withdrawal or account function may be delayed or restricted while information is being reviewed. If requested information is not provided, or cannot be verified, further action may be taken under the applicable account terms.
2. Placing bets and understanding odds
Before placing a bet, check the event or game, market, selection, stake, odds, potential return and any conditions shown on screen. A bet is submitted when you select the relevant option and confirm the bet through the required process. Placing a selection in a bet slip does not, by itself, mean that the bet has been accepted. You should wait for an on-screen confirmation and retain the bet reference or other confirmation details.
Displayed odds may change before a bet is accepted. The odds shown at the time a bet is accepted are generally the odds that apply to that bet, subject to the applicable product rules. A bet may be rejected if odds change, a market is suspended, the event has started, the selection is unavailable, the stake is outside an applicable limit or a technical or compliance check prevents acceptance.
The amount shown as a potential return is an estimate based on the stake, odds and other information displayed when the bet is accepted. It may not include or may be affected by applicable deductions, adjustments, taxes, fees or product-specific conditions. The relevant market rules determine how a return is calculated. You should not rely on a potential return until the bet has been settled.
Types of bets
Available betting options may include single bets, multiple bets, combination bets, live bets, futures, special markets or other products. Each type may have different requirements. For example, a multiple bet can depend on more than one selection being successful, while a live bet may be affected by the timing of an event and information available at the time of acceptance. The specific rules shown for the product take priority where they explain how a bet is formed or settled.
For casino or other game-based products, the outcome is determined by the rules and operation of the relevant game. The outcome cannot be changed by a customer after a round has been confirmed. Game instructions, pay tables, special features and any stated conditions should be reviewed before play. A game result is not a guarantee of a future result, and previous outcomes do not improve the likelihood of a particular future outcome.
- Check whether a market is pre-event or live before confirming your bet.
- Review whether a selection can be combined with other selections.
- Confirm the stake and currency displayed in the bet slip.
- Check any minimum or maximum stake shown for the market.
- Do not assume that a bet has been accepted until confirmation is displayed.
Unibet Casino may apply reasonable limits, restrictions or suspension procedures to particular markets, accounts, stakes or betting activity. Any applicable limit may be shown in the service or communicated through the relevant account process. The existence of a betting market does not mean that every stake, combination or transaction will be accepted.
3. Settlement, void bets and technical issues
Bets are settled using the official result or outcome recognised under the rules for the relevant event, market or game. Settlement may take place after an event has finished, after an official result has been confirmed or after the information needed to apply the market rules becomes available. If an official result is changed, a bet may be reviewed or adjusted where the applicable rules allow this.
A bet may be declared void, cancelled or otherwise adjusted if the event is abandoned, postponed beyond the period specified in the market rules, changed materially, conducted under conditions that make settlement impossible or affected by an obvious error. The treatment of related selections in a multiple or combination bet may differ from the treatment of a single bet. Always read the market-specific rules for the applicable outcome.
An obvious error may include an incorrectly displayed price, selection, result, stake, return or other material detail. If an obvious error occurs, Unibet Casino may correct the error and settle the bet using the correct information, or void the affected bet where permitted by the applicable terms. This can apply even if the error was not noticed until after the event or game.
Interrupted or delayed services
Internet connections, devices, payment services, live data feeds and other systems can experience delays or interruptions. A bet that appears to have been submitted may not have been accepted, and a displayed result may not yet be final. If the service is interrupted, check your account or bet history before attempting to place the same bet again. Repeated submissions could create more than one accepted bet.
Where a technical problem affects the operation of a market, game or account, Unibet Casino may suspend activity, investigate the issue and correct or cancel affected transactions in line with the applicable rules. Records held in the betting system may be used to determine whether a request was received and whether a bet was accepted. A screen display, message or incomplete transaction does not necessarily replace the official account record.
If you believe that a bet has been settled incorrectly, review the market rules and your bet history first. Raise the issue through the available support or account process as soon as reasonably possible, including the relevant bet reference, date, market and a clear description of the concern. Do not provide passwords or sensitive security information in a general message unless the secure process specifically requests it.
Returns, withdrawals and payment processing are subject to the payment method, account verification, applicable law and the account terms. A displayed balance may include funds that are subject to a pending settlement, review or other restriction. You should check the account information shown to you before assuming that funds are available for withdrawal or further betting.
4. Responsible gambling and complaints
Betting should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to earn income or recover losses. There is always a risk of losing money, and no strategy can guarantee a win. Set a budget before you start, use only money you can afford to lose and avoid chasing losses. Do not gamble when you are upset, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or trying to solve financial difficulties.
The service may provide tools and information to help you manage your gambling. Depending on the service and your location, these may include deposit or spending controls, activity information, breaks, self-exclusion and other account restrictions. Read the available responsible gambling information to understand how these tools work and whether a restriction applies immediately or from a future time.
- Decide how much time and money you will spend before placing bets.
- Take regular breaks and keep gambling separate from essential household spending.
- Do not increase stakes because you are trying to recover an earlier loss.
- Use account controls or request a break if gambling no longer feels enjoyable or manageable.
- Seek independent help if gambling is causing stress, debt, conflict or other harm.
Disputes and rule changes
If you have a question about a bet, result, account action or payment, use the available customer support or complaints process. Provide enough information for the matter to be reviewed, while protecting your account credentials and personal information. A review may require examination of account records, transaction details, market information, system logs and the rules that applied when the bet was accepted.
These Betting Rules may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to products, technology, business processes or legal requirements. The current version should be read before using the service. Changes generally apply from the date they are published or otherwise notified, but a different commencement date may apply where stated. Rules that applied when a bet was accepted will be considered when that bet is settled, subject to any correction, voiding or adjustment permitted under the applicable terms.
If any part of these rules is inconsistent with a mandatory requirement of applicable Australian law, that mandatory requirement will apply to the extent of the inconsistency. The remaining provisions will continue to operate. These rules should be read with the full account terms and any product-specific rules displayed in the service.
